Imlil is a small village located at 1740m above the sea level & far from Marrakech about 64km & 1h30 driving, Snowy Atlas offers a spectacle looks magical.
The High Atlas rises in the west at the Atlantic Ocean and stretches in an eastern direction to the Moroccan-Algerian border. At the Atlantic and to the southwest the range drops abruptly and makes an impressive transition to the coast and the Anti-Atlas range. To the north, in the direction of Marrakech, the range descends less abruptly.

In Imlil Valley you start a walk with a guide to Aremd village (1900 meters). On the way you will be able to see traditional Berber villages and see the highest peak in the North of Africa, Jbel Toubkal (4167 meters). After about 1 - 1,5 hours, you will go to a traditional gite (guesthouse) to have a wonderful lunch. From here you willhave a beautiful view of the Mizane Valley. After lunch it will be a 30 minute walk back to Imlil.
